About Me

I’m a wife and a mom of two, and I’ve spent most of my life growing up here in the Fargo area. My roots in this community are important to me and shape the way I connect with and support others.

Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, gardening, and being in nature. Some of my favorite moments are the simple ones—laughing and having fun with my kids or enjoying quiet, restorative time outdoors. I’m naturally more of an introvert at heart, which helps me bring a calm, grounded presence into the therapy space.

Professional Background

I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and earned my Master’s degree from the University of Mary in 2013. I have training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), FirstPlay Therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches.

Before starting Inner Compass Counseling, I worked in a variety of settings supporting children, individuals, and families. This included providing in-home family therapy, outpatient counseling, and collaborating with occupational, speech, and physical therapists to support each person’s unique needs.

These experiences have shaped my approach to be flexible, collaborative, and centered on meeting you where you’re at.
