Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is an evidence-based approach that helps children, adolescents, and families heal from the effects of trauma. This therapy focuses on building coping skills, improving emotional regulation, and safely processing difficult experiences at a supportive pace. TF-CBT helps clients reduce distress, strengthen resilience, and feel more confident and secure in their daily lives.

Mindfulness Approaches

Mindfulness-Based Therapy helps individuals slow down, become more aware of their thoughts and emotions, and respond to life’s challenges with greater clarity and calm. Drawing from the work of Dr. Kristin Neff on self-compassion, this approach encourages treating yourself with the same kindness and understanding you would offer a loved one. Clients learn practical skills to reduce self-criticism, manage stress and anxiety, and build emotional resilience. Mindfulness therapy supports greater balance, self-acceptance, and overall well-being.

FirstPlay Therapy

FirstPlay® Therapy is an attachment-based, play therapy approach designed to support infants ages birth to toddlers and their caregivers connection through the use of infant massage storytelling. Through the use of Baby Tree Hug Massage, therapists guide caregiver’s through guided play, nurturing touch to aid with co-regulation, bonding and attachment.
